What middle path, bhikkhu, understood by the Tathāgata, produces vision, produces knowledge and leads to calm, deep knowledge, penetrative insight, Nibbānā?

It is this Noble Path with eight factors:

Right View,

Right Thought ,

Right Speech,

Right Action,

Right Livelihood,

Right Effort,

Right Mindfulness,

Right Concentration.

This is the middle path, bhikkhu, that was understood by the Tathāgata,

produces vision, produces knowledge and leads to calm, deep knowledge, penetrative insight, Nibbānā.
